Very expected game when bottom-ranked DutchBAL Weert (0-5) was defeated at home by leader Belgian Kangoeroes (4-0) 77-71 on Saturday. American-Nigerian guard Tobi Ewuosho (196-1997, college: Alabama St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and Swedish forward Zaba Bangala (201-2001) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Slovenian guard Lon Lican (195-2005, agency: Players Group) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and guard Roel Van Overbeek (189-2000) scored 8 points and 7 assists. BAL Weert's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Kangoeroes . Mechelen moved-up to third place. BAL Weert lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Rotterdam and Den Helder.
